A STUNNING Tomahawk steak, suitable for 2 - 3 adults, cook it how you like!

Not 100% how to cook? Use our tried & tested Reverse Searing method:

1. Preparation:

  • Take the steak out of the fridge at least 40 minutes before you plan to cook.
  • Season well with salt. Add pepper or a dry rub if you prefer.

2. Cooking in the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 140°C.
  • Place the steak on a wire rack over a baking sheet to allow even heat circulation.
  • For medium rare, cook the steak for about 40 minutes at 140°C. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of ~52°C at the thickest part.

3. Resting the Steak:

  • Let the steak rest for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat your BBQ to its highest setting (or use a large pan if preferred).

4. Searing the Steak:

  • Sear the Tomahawk for about 2 minutes on each side until a nice crust forms.

5. Serving:

  • Slice the steak against the grain, serve, and enjoy!
